apularas.sbs publishes research that advances understanding across its field, from fundamental studies to applied work with clear practical relevance. Papers are chosen for their originality, robustness and relevance.
Research papers are accompanied by reviews, perspectives and news and views articles.
Editorial policies
- Every research paper is assessed by at least two independent referees.
- All articles are freely available under a Creative Commons licence.
- Copyright remains with the authors.
- We follow recognised guidelines on research integrity and publication ethics.
